Commitment

Standard

Our target standard is WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Feedback

We welcome reports of barriers and aim to respond promptly.

1. Scope

This statement applies to the Quiz Maker website and application. We design and develop with accessibility in mind from the start.

2. Measures & features

  • Semantic HTML with logical heading order and ARIA where appropriate.
  • Keyboard operability for navigation, forms, dialogs, and interactive controls.
  • Visible focus styles and skip-to-content patterns.
  • Color contrast targeting WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Labels, instructions, and descriptive error messages on forms.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images and icons marked when decorative.
  • Responsive layouts and support for prefers-reduced-motion.

3. Compatibility & assistive tech

We aim to support current versions of major browsers and screen readers, including NVDA/JAWS on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS/iOS. Some older browsers or extensions may affect accessibility.

4. Testing approach

  • Automated checks (linting, contrast, landmarks) during development.
  • Manual keyboard testing for core flows (sign in, create quiz, take quiz).
  • Screen reader spot-checks for headings, regions, labels, and error announcements.

5. Known limitations

We’re working to improve the following areas and welcome feedback:

  • Some third-party embeds may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Legacy quiz templates may require additional keyboard refinements.

6. Feedback & contact

If you encounter barriers, please tell us. We’ll do our best to assist and fix issues promptly.

7. Enforcement & third-party content

While we control our application, we may link to or embed third-party content we don’t manage. Please contact those providers for their accessibility statements.

8. Continuous improvements

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We schedule periodic reviews and include accessibility checks in our release process.
